An angle of the earth paradise, it is situated on the river among the greenery of the trees. In the north-western part of peninsula Lignano, between the banks of the river Tagliamento you'll find this charming oasis, populated by animals, full of rich vegetation, a lot of streams and a small lake. On its 12 hectares you can observe more than 1.500 animals, among which there are about 250 various species, coming from all over the world.
The zoo is opened every day from 1st March till 1st November from 9 a.m. till the sunset. |
